Course Description – Chinese New Year in Italian

What Will You Learn?

• Lessons include hands-on activities like making paper lanterns, coloring zodiac wheels, and acting out traditional greetings. Students also learn the 12 Chinese zodiac animals in Italian and play fun vocabulary games to reinforce pronunciation and memory.
• Older learners explore cultural connections, discovering how Chinese New Year is celebrated in Italy, tasting or researching Italian-Chinese fusion foods, and comparing New Year traditions around the world. Teens write New Year wishes and idiomatic expressions for luck, wealth, and happiness, and practice speaking in role-plays to share greetings with classmates.
